We operate out of a small place at Flat No 6 in the LIG Housing Scheme Colony which is right near the Jumma Masjid in Kurla West. It is a very busy neighborhood with people everywhere and the sounds of the market and the mosque nearby. Our office is basically just a flat turned into a workspace where we manage our export business. It is a bit tight when we have a lot of samples or documents piled up but we make it work somehow. Most of our day is spent on the phone or on the computer trying to coordinate things between the suppliers and the buyers. We are in a housing colony so it feels more like a home. It is quite comfortable for everyone who works here. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by looking for the masjid nearby. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze coming through the narrow streets. It is a humble setup but we are doing our bit in the export world from this little corner of Kurla. We drink a lot of tea and just keep pushing through the tasks until the sun goes down and the streets get even louder with people coming home. We just try to stay focused on getting the orders out and making sure everything is correct.
