Naemd Education And Welfare Foundation

If you find yourself on Nivetia Road in Malad West, you might see the Prateek Building. That’s where Naemd Education and Welfare Foundation is based. We’re in unit A-2. It’s a pretty standard residential building, so it doesn’t feel like a cold office at all. We like it that way. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the rain is heavy and the roads get flooded. The office is usually filled with the sound of fans whirring and people talking over each other. We have a lot of books and papers everywhere because that’s just the nature of what we do. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to parents and students from the local area. Malad West is a big place, and there’s always someone looking for a bit of help or advice. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and the watchman has to remind us to lock up. We aren't trying to be the biggest foundation out there. We just want to do our part for the people on Nivetia Road and the surrounding streets. It’s a quiet life, mostly, but we enjoy the work and the people we meet every day.
