You can find us over at Block No 7 in Jansukh Niwas CHS, which is right on Kasturba Road in Kandivali West. It is a regular housing society building, so it feels very much like a home office most days. We are right in the middle of a residential patch, which makes it easy for local folks to just walk in when they are out for groceries or a walk. The area stays pretty lively during the day. Inside our office, things are usually a bit cluttered with folders and notes stuck to the desks. We drink a lot of tea while we look at different property listings on our screens. There is a small window that lets in some light from the street, and we can hear the buses going by every few minutes. Kandivali has changed a lot lately, but our corner of Kasturba Road still feels familiar. We don't spend much on decorations or anything like that because we are usually too busy talking to people about their flats. It is a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and see who needs help finding a place or selling one. Most of the people we deal with are just neighbors or families from around Mumbai. It is a decent place to work, even if the traffic gets a bit much sometimes in the evenings when everyone is heading home.
