Our office is located at 602 in the Mitashu CHS building, which is part of the Charkop area in Kandivali West. If you know the neighborhood, we are right near the TJSB Bank on R D P 6 in Sector 6. It is a standard Mumbai setup where you have homes and businesses all mixed together. We deal with medical devices and the day usually starts early with a lot of phone calls. The building is one of those typical cooperative housing societies where everyone knows each other. Being in Mumbai City means there is always noise from the street below and the local trains are not too far away. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for the space we have. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It is just a regular private limited company run by people who live nearby. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. We just handle the medical device orders and shipments as they come in. Kandivali gets really crowded during the evening rush, so we usually try to wrap up before the traffic on the main road gets too bad. It is a decent place to work from and the Maharashtra heat is manageable with the fans going full blast all afternoon. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The tea stall downstairs is where we go for our afternoon breaks.
