We operate out of Santacruz West, right on North Avenue near Linking Road. Our space is Flat No. 401 on the fourth floor of Sunbeam Apartments. Linking Road is famous for shopping, so we are right in the thick of things, though being on the fourth floor keeps us away from the worst of the street noise. Sunbeam is an older building, but it’s got a lot of character. We use the apartment as our main base for managing the fashion side of things. It feels more like a workshop than an office most days. There are fabrics draped over chairs and sketches pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time here arguing over colors or checking the fit of a new sample. Since we are in Santacruz, it’s easy for people to visit us, although finding parking on North Avenue is almost impossible. We usually tell people to just take an auto-rickshaw. It’s a small operation, and we don't have any interest in sounding like a big multinational. We’re just a few people who love fashion and happen to have a nice spot in a great part of Mumbai. We drink a lot of coffee, work late when we have to, and try to keep things as organized as possible in a small apartment. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours, and we like the way we do things here.
