Our office is in Flat 2B 92 of Windermere CHS Ltd, situated in Azad Nagar, Andheri West. It’s right off the New Link Road in Oshiwara. Maximal Importers And Exporters Llp is run by a small group of us who have been in the business for years. We don’t have a big front desk or a corporate lobby. Since we are in a residential-style building, you have to go through the regular gates to get to our unit. It makes the whole workday feel a bit more relaxed, though it still gets very busy when we have shipments coming in. We spend most of our time looking at logistics and making sure the numbers in our books are right. It isn’t the most exciting work, but it’s what we are good at. The office is usually full of stacks of paper and the sound of the fans going. We like being in Oshiwara because everything we need is close by, even though the traffic on the Link Road is usually a total disaster in the evenings. We don’t really do marketing or sales pitches. We just answer the calls and get the orders processed as they come. It’s a very simple way to do things. We know the local shopkeepers and our neighbors quite well. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the local area while dealing with things from all over the world. We just keep our heads down.
