Our workplace is located in Jay Palace CHS on Yari Road. We’re in unit C 601. It’s right across from the Air India Complex in Versova. Being in this part of Mumbai is nice because the atmosphere is a bit different than the deeper city areas. We’ve been running Mashobra Realty from here for some time now. The office is basically just a few rooms where we manage our property files and meet with people. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. Versova is a busy place, and we’re often out and about checking on different flats or buildings in the vicinity. Real estate here involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. We spend plenty of time on the phone or sitting in traffic trying to get to the other side of town. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us handling the day-to-day work. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing with all the city codes, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. We like being in Jay Palace; it’s a solid building and easy for people to find once they get to Yari Road. We just keep things practical and focus on the tasks at hand. There’s always someone coming by to ask about local listings. It keeps the days interesting and ensures that we never really have a dull moment.
