Manika Gold Private Limited is located over at 178 D in the Akurli Industrial Estate. If you have ever been to Kandivali East, you know Akurli Road is always humming with some kind of activity. It is an industrial area, so it isn't the quietest place to work, but it feels real. We handle gold work here, and most of our days are spent surrounded by the sounds of the estate. There are workshops all around us, and everyone is pretty much doing their own thing. Our office isn't anything to brag about in terms of design, but it is functional and serves its purpose. We have our regulars who know where to find us. Living and working in Mumbai City, specifically in this 400101 area, means you get used to the cramped spaces and the constant movement. We do not try to act like a big global firm; we are just people who know gold and have a spot in Maharashtra to do our business. The rain hits the tin roofs in the estate pretty hard during the monsoon, and we just keep the lights on and keep working. Sometimes we grab tea from the corner stall and talk to the other business owners nearby. It is a community of makers and workers. We have been at this address for a while and don't see that changing. It is just honest work in a busy part of the suburbs.
