Maha Abhinav Bharat Farmer Club Private Limited has its main office at 202, Keshava Building on BKC Road. That is in the E Block of Bandra East, Mumbai. It might seem a bit strange for a farmer club to be in the middle of the big city like Mumbai, but this is where we handle the bigger side of the business. BKC is all big buildings and traffic, but we are looking out for the interests of the farming groups we work with across the state. We aren't farmers who are out in the mud every single day anymore, but we spend our time in this office making the connections that the folks back in the villages need to sell their stuff. It’s a lot of meetings and phone calls to different departments. We don’t have a polished corporate vibe even though we are in a busy business area. The office is just a place to work and keep the records straight. We try to bridge the gap between the city markets and the rural farms. It’s a long way from the fields to Bandra, but someone has to be here to talk to the buyers and the government people who make the rules. We keep things pretty simple in the office. No fancy decorations, just desks and computers and a lot of files piled up. It’s a different kind of hard work than plowing a field, but it’s still work that needs doing for the club to stay active and helpful.
