Maayra Fashions Llp is located right on the ground floor at Shop No. 5 in the Benzer CHSL. Being in the Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri West means it is always crowded and noisy. We actually like the energy of Mumbai though. We have been working out of this space for a bit now. It is not the biggest shop in the whole city but we make it work for us. The street outside is usually packed with people looking for all sorts of stuff. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy in the monsoon and we have to watch the door. We spend our days looking at fabrics and talking to customers who wander in from the neighborhood. Mumbai City-400053 is a very busy postal code to be in. We keep our shelves as organized as we can but things get messy when we are busy. There is a certain way things run here in Maharashtra and we have just learned to go with the flow. We do not have any big speeches about what we do. It is just us and the clothes. Our staff mostly lives nearby so we all know the local tea stalls pretty well. Sometimes we stay late just to get the inventory sorted for the next morning. It feels good to have a permanent spot here among all the other businesses. We are not looking to change the world. We just try to keep the shop running and help everyone find what they need.
