We work out of Nivetia Bungalow, specifically number 10, on Nivetia Road in Malad East. It’s an interesting place to have an office because it’s a bungalow rather than a high-rise. It gives the whole travel and tourism institute a different feel. It’s a bit more relaxed than being in a glass tower. We spend our time teaching people about the travel industry. There’s always a lot of maps and brochures lying around, even though everything is digital these days. We like having physical things to look at. The bungalow has a bit of character, with old windows and some nice shade outside. Malad East is a busy area, but our little corner is somewhat tucked away. We’re a small group running the show. We do the teaching, the admin, and even the cleaning sometimes. It’s not a fancy life, but we enjoy it. We get people coming in who want to see the world, and we try to give them the basics of how the business works. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy in the summer, but we don't mind. We prefer this kind of setting. It feels more personal when someone walks through the door. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or by walking past the bungalow. It’s a steady pace of work and we are happy staying right here on Nivetia Road.
