The Lifeness Science Institute And Welfare Foundation is situated in Malad West, specifically in the Prateek Building on Nivetia Road. Our unit is A-2, which is easy to find once you get inside the main gate. Nivetia Road is one of those streets that is always buzzing with activity, from the early morning until late at night. There are plenty of local shops nearby, so we usually step out for a quick vada pav or some tea during our breaks. The office itself is fairly straightforward. We have a front area with a few chairs and then the main workspace where the science and welfare files are kept. It’s a bit of an older building, so the walls have a few scuffs and the windows rattle a bit when the heavy trucks go past. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the essentials like desks, some printers, and a shelf full of reference books. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with us for a while, so we all know how the building works—like which switch operates the hallway light. It’s a busy place, and there is always someone coming in with a question or some documents to sign. We just keep things moving as best we can, trying to stay organized amidst all the daily chaos of Malad. It’s an honest place to work, even if the traffic makes the morning commute a bit of a challenge. We mostly just focus on the task at hand and ignore the noise from outside.
