At Lehar Spices India Private Limited, we operate from a small place in Shivaji Nagar. It is Flat No-14 A/26 in what people call William Chawl. We are right by the Vakola Bridge in Santacruz East. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and lively this area can be. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic on the bridge and people moving around the chawl. Our space is not big, but it is where we do all our thinking about spices. We have lived and worked in this neighborhood for a long time. It is a real community here. We do not have a big factory here; it is more of an office and a storage point. The address sounds a bit complicated, but once you are at Vakola Bridge, it is easy to find the way to Shivaji Nagar. We deal with the heat and the rain just like everyone else in the city. It is a honest way to make a living, and we like being right in the heart of the action. We do not need a fancy office to do good work with spices. We just try to get through our tasks and keep everything moving along.
