Lamaste Truthand International Charity Foundation

We are located right in the heart of Bandra West, inside the Elco Commercial CHS. Our little spot is Shop Number D/08 in the Elco Arcade, which is at 84 Hill Road. If you know Bandra, you know how crazy Hill Road can get with all the shoppers and the food stalls. It’s a constant stream of people outside our door. Being in the arcade means we’re in a small space, but we’ve made it work for the foundation. We have some shelves lined with records and a couple of desks that barely fit when more than two people are inside. It’s cozy, to say the least. The sound of the street market usually drifts in, which gives the place a lot of energy. We don't have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who show up every day to handle the charity's tasks. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to keep the place tidy because of how much stuff we have to store in such a tiny shop. We often end up standing outside on the walkway just to have a bit of breathing room or to talk to someone who’s stopped by. It’s a very public place to be, and we like that people can just see us here. It feels very connected to the local life of Bandra. It’s just a small shop, but it’s our home base for everything we do.
