We are up on the fourth floor of the Mhada Bimbisar Nagar building in Goregaon East. Being right by the Western Express Highway means there is always the sound of cars in the background. It’s a busy part of Mumbai. Our space is filled with computers and a lot of printed materials for schools. We work on academic things like curriculum help or digital content for classrooms. It’s a lot of typing and looking at screens for long hours. The office isn't very big, so we all know what everyone else is working on. We often have lunch together at the desks while we talk about the news or the traffic. We don't have any polished sales pitch. We just take the projects as they come and try to finish them before the deadlines. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs, which is quite a climb to the fourth floor. The light in the office is bright, and we have a few plants that we keep forgetting to water. It’s just a group of people who know about education and how to put it into a digital format. We handle a lot of emails every day from different teachers. It’s a practical place where we just get the job done without much fuss. We’ve been in this building for some time now and like the location despite the noisy highway.
