Koye Foundation

The Koye Foundation is located over on the first floor of the Dn Mahajan & Bros. Building. It is building number one inside the Mahajan Silk Mill Compound. If you are driving down LBS Marg in Vikhroli West, we are situated right near the Union Bank. It is a bit of an old industrial area, but that is where we have set up our workspace here in Mumbai. We do not have any bells or whistles in our office. It is just a regular room where we come to work. The compound itself has a lot of history with the old silk mills, and being part of that landscape feels right for what we do. Maharashtra is a huge state, but we focus our energy from this little corner in Vikhroli. You might have to look twice for our building because there are a few different structures around the compound, but once you spot the Mahajan Silk Mill sign, you are basically there. We are not interested in looking corporate or having some polished image. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Some of us have been here since the start, and others joined later. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep if you are not used to these older buildings. We like it here though. It is practical and keeps us close to the street level of the city. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because that is not what we are about.
