Our office is in Room No. 8 of Sai Baba Chawl, which is on Kherani Road in Sakinaka. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s a lot of noise from the traffic and the local shops. We are right near the Lucky Hotel, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s not a big corporate office with fancy furniture or an elevator. It’s a simple room where we keep our files and do our planning. Working in a chawl means we are right in the middle of everything. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We deal with infrastructure stuff, which usually means a lot of coordination and phone calls. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a few people over, but we make it work. It’s a practical spot for us because it’s close to where a lot of the action is in Sakinaka. We’ve been here for a bit and the neighbors know us. It’s a humble setup, but it serves its purpose for Kes Infrastructure. We don't really care about having a polished image; we just want to get the work done. There’s always tea being passed around and someone coming in to ask a question. It’s just a normal, busy day for us on Kherani Road, and we wouldn't have it any other way right now.
