Kalpshree Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited

We are located at Shop number 6 in the Shree Saisamarth Co-Op Housing Society in Ghatkopar West. It’s right on Jivdaya Lane, across from Savla Hospital. Being in Mumbai, it’s always busy outside. You can hear the horns and the people walking by all day long. Our little office for Kalpshree Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited is tucked in there. It’s a small shop but it fits what we need. We spend most of our time talking to members about their savings. It’s a mutual benefit thing, so everyone is kind of in it together. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have more than three people visiting at once. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a couple of ceiling fans that keep the air moving. Mumbai heat can be tough in the afternoons. We don't have fancy brochures or anything. We just explain things as they are. People from the nearby buildings come in to drop off their payments or just to check their balances. It’s a very local vibe. We know the shopkeepers next door and the watchman of the society. We aren't some big bank with a skyscraper. We’re just a small part of the lane. We’ve been here for a while and we know the faces of the people who live around here. It’s a simple business, nothing too fancy, just helping out where we can with money matters. Sometimes we stay late to finish the paperwork when the city finally starts to quiet down.
