You'll find our little office in Mulund West, inside the Dnyaneshwar Co-Op Housing Society. We have our space in room 201 on Gaikwad Marg. It’s a bit unusual to have an agrisearch company in a housing society, but it works for us. It keeps things feeling a bit more personal and less like a cold, corporate environment. At Kalpottam Agrisearch, we spend our time looking into the science side of farming. We look at seeds, soil, and different ways to help things grow better. It’s a lot of reading and looking at data, but we also talk to a lot of people who are actually out there in the fields. We aren't a big lab with millions of dollars in equipment. We’re just a small group of people who are really interested in agriculture. Our office is full of books and papers, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to put your coffee cup. We don't have any slick marketing or big promises. We just share what we find and try to be as helpful as we can. Mumbai is a noisy city, but our little corner of Mulund is usually quiet enough for us to get our work done. We like the fact that we’re just regular people trying to find practical answers for farmers. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do day in and day out.
