We are tucked away in Bandra West, specifically on Mount Mary Road. It’s a nice part of town, though the hills can be a bit of a climb if you’re walking. Kalpana Academy For Education And Skillsdevelopment Private Limited operates out of Flat 61 in the A Wing of Florida Apartment. It’s a residential building, so it stays fairly quiet most of the time, which is good for focusing on skills and training. We’ve got a view of the surrounding trees and sometimes you can feel the sea breeze if the windows are open. Inside, it’s just a regular setup with some tables and chairs for our sessions. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. People just come in and we get to work. It feels very local. Most of the people who come here are from the suburban area nearby. We deal with education and helping people learn new things for their jobs. It is simple work but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Bandra is a busy place but our little corner in Florida Apt feels like a different world sometimes. We just focus on what the students need that day. There’s always someone around to answer questions. We like the vibe of the neighborhood and being based in such a well-known part of Mumbai.
