We are over in Mulund West, in the Meghal Industrial Estate. Our unit is 1/10, right on Devidayal Road. It is an industrial area, so there are always trucks and workers moving around outside. Our office is not anything special to look at, just a functional space where we do our real estate work. We have got a few desks and some old cabinets for all the files we have collected. Mulund is a busy suburb, and we mostly look after things in this part of Mumbai. The air is always filled with the sounds of the nearby workshops. We are not big on corporate talk; we just like to get things done. Most of our day is spent calling people back or going out to look at properties. We grab our tea from a stall just down the road. It is a simple life here. We have been in the 400080 area for a good amount of time and know the local market pretty well. People drop by sometimes to ask about prices or to leave documents. We do not have a fancy lobby, just a couple of chairs for anyone who stops in. It is an honest workplace where we focus on the details of the houses and land we manage. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work. We just keep our heads down and finish the list.
