Jif-Jaina India Foundation

Jif-Jaina India Foundation is over in Borivali West, specifically at 102, Plot Number 2 in the Ablasha CHS building on Punjabi Lane. It’s a familiar spot for those of us who grew up around here. We aren't some big, faceless organization. We are just a group of people who wanted to set something up to help with local initiatives. Our office is just a regular unit in the building. It’s where we sit down to plan things and talk to anyone who stops by. We don't have any polished scripts or corporate goals that sound like they came out of a textbook. We just want to do some good work in the community. Borivali is always buzzing, and there’s always something that needs attention. Sometimes we feel a bit overwhelmed by everything, but we just keep plugging away. It’s mostly about being present and listening to what people have to say. We’ve had to learn everything from scratch, from how to manage paperwork to organizing small events. It’s been a bit of a bumpy road, but that’s just how things go when you’re starting something real. We aren't trying to be the biggest foundation out there. We just want to be reliable and do what we say we’re going to do. If you’re ever on Punjabi Lane, you’ll see us just doing our thing. Our neighbors know us by name, and we like it that way. It makes the work feel more personal and honest.
