It’s a residential building that we’ve converted into our workspace, so it has a very homey, relaxed vibe. It doesn't feel like a cold corporate office at all. We have a small balcony where we sometimes take a break to look at the street below. Khar is a nice area, but it can get quite cramped with all the cars parked along the narrow roads. Inside the flat, we’ve set up our desks where the living room would usually be. We deal with estate management, so there are always folders and keys lying around. The kitchen area is mostly used for making endless rounds of tea and coffee. We’ve got a few old cupboards filled with records dating back quite a bit. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the main roads, which helps when we need to concentrate on contracts. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; it’s just a handful of us who know each other well. We handle things in a very direct, personal way.
