JAI SHREE FINO NIDHI LIMITED

We are based on the first floor of Nalanda Chawl in Kandivali East. The exact spot is Box-D-52 in Kranti Nagar, right along Akurli Road. It is a very busy part of Mumbai, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside our door. We set up this Nidhi company here because we wanted to be where the people are. It is not a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a simple room where we sit and talk to our neighbors about their savings. Many people around here find it hard to deal with big banks, so they come to us. We help them put a little money aside every month. We also give out small loans when someone in the community needs a bit of help. Our staff are all local folks. We know the shopkeepers and the families living in the chawl. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded, but we manage. We do most of our work on paper and simple computers. There is no polished marketing here. We just try to be a useful place for the people of Kranti Nagar. If you are walking down Akurli Road, you can just walk up the stairs and find us. We have been in this same spot for a while and plan to stay here as long as the neighborhood needs us. It is just a practical, local operation.
