We are based in the ICAI Tower in the G-Block of Bandra Kurla Complex. The address is Plot No C-40, right across from the MCA Academy. Being in BKC means we’re surrounded by big banks and offices, but our floor at the Institute Of Social Auditors Of India feels a bit more grounded. We deal with a lot of regulations and standards for social auditing. It’s a lot of reading and technical work. The office is usually quiet, filled with the sound of typing and the occasional meeting in the corner room. We don't have fancy decorations. Most of our wall space is taken up by files and official documents. The team here is made up of professionals who have been in the field for a long time. We aren't here to put on a show; we just have a specific job to do regarding social impact and auditing rules. BKC can be a bit overwhelming with all the traffic and the tall buildings, but once you’re inside the tower, it’s just another workspace. We spend a lot of time on the phone with auditors from different parts of the country. Lunch usually happens at our desks because there’s always something that needs to be finished. It’s a busy place but we keep it organized in our own way. We just keep our heads down and get through the stack of reports on the desk.
