You’ll find Indorama Ventures Yarns Private Limited on the 6th Floor of The Metropolitan building. We’re right in the middle of Bandra Kurla Complex, or BKC as everyone calls it. It’s a very corporate-looking area with all the glass buildings and expensive cars, but our office is pretty grounded compared to some. We deal with yarns, which is a very physical thing even if we are in a high-rise. We spend our days talking to factories and checking on deliveries. It’s a bit of a contrast being in a fancy building while talking about industrial yarn all day long. We have a small crew here on the 6th floor. We aren't into the whole big corporate culture thing. We just have a job to do and we do it. The traffic in Bandra East is always a headache, so we usually get in early and stay late to avoid the rush. There are no big mottos hanging on our walls. We just have desks and a lot of samples of different yarns. People might think we’re just another big office, but we’re really just a group of people making sure the supply chain doesn't break. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a shipment is late, we just tell people the truth. We don’t try to dress things up. It’s just how we work here. We focus on the yarns and keep everything moving.
