We’re over in Santacruz West, right across from S.V. Road. You can find us at the Pioneer Heritage Residency II, specifically in apartment F/101. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic on S.V. Road can get pretty loud during rush hour. Idu Mistry Constructions is basically a family-run kind of setup. We have our main desk in the front room and a lot of files stored in the back. Working in Santacruz is interesting because you see a mix of old buildings and new ones going up everywhere. We mostly focus on residential stuff, helping people with their homes or small renovations. It’s not always glamorous work. Sometimes we’re just dealing with leaky pipes or cracked walls, but it’s what we do. The office is usually a bit of a mess with tape measures and material catalogs lying around. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to the people who walk in or call us up. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that we know most of the people on our block. It’s a lot of coordination between the workers on-site and the suppliers. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a job is going to take two weeks, we say two weeks. It’s a living, and we take some pride in seeing a finished house when we’re done. It's just us doing our daily work.
