Our office for I M Builtkon Private Limited is tucked away in Corporate Avenue on Sonawala Lane. If you’ve ever been to Goregaon East, you know how hectic the traffic can get around here, especially during the rush. We are in unit 811. It’s a decent sized space where we manage our construction and building work. Most days involve a lot of back-and-forth between site supervisors and the office staff. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or high-end decor; it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of site drawings spread out everywhere. The building itself is busy with all kinds of companies, so there is a constant stream of people in the elevators. We’ve been operating from this location because it’s central for our projects across the city. Sometimes the tea lady comes by, and that’s about the most excitement we get in the afternoons when we are deep into project schedules. We handle the technical side of building things, making sure the materials are ordered and the workers know where to go. It’s heavy work and sometimes stressful, but it’s what we do. We don’t spend much time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We just take on the jobs that come our way and try to finish them without too many delays. It’s a straightforward operation here in Goregaon, nothing more and nothing less.
