Hudai Charitable Foundation

Hudai Charitable Foundation has a small gala in the Hiro Manzil building. We are in Gala No. 2, which is part of 100 D in Kurla Quresh Nagar. This part of Kurla East is incredibly busy, with narrow lanes and lots of shops everywhere. It’s a very old part of the city. We’ve been here for a long time, and the foundation is basically just an extension of the community work we were already doing. The space is small and we have to keep everything very organized just to fit a few chairs in there for visitors. We mostly help out with basic needs for families living nearby. It could be anything from help with school supplies to food or small medical bits. We don’t have a website or fancy ads. Most of the people we help live just a few streets away. We know their names and they know ours. It gets very hot in the gala during the summer months, but we usually have a fan going and some cold water for anyone who stops by to talk. We aren't a big fancy charity. We’re just local people using a small shop space to try and make things a bit easier for our neighbors. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do. We’ve lived in Kurla our whole lives and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
