Our office is over at 53/B in the Charkop Kesari society, right there in Sector 3 on the 90 Feet Road in Kandivali West. If you know the area, you know it’s a lively spot with a lot of local businesses. We focus on trading and exporting, which keeps us pretty busy most of the time. We aren't a huge operation with a lot of departments; we are a small team that handles everything from sales to shipping. It’s a lot of work, but we like the independence it gives us. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure our export documents are in order. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s practical and it keeps us connected to markets outside of India. We don't use a lot of fancy marketing talk because we don't think it’s necessary. People work with us because they know we’ll get the job done without any fuss. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s comfortable and it’s where we do all our thinking and planning. We try to be fair with everyone we deal with, and we don't make promises we can't keep. It’s just a straightforward trading business run by people who live and work in the community. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big shipment is due, but we usually find a way to make it work out in the end. We enjoy the rhythm of the work.
