We are located on the first floor of Neelkanth Enclave, specifically in Flat 102. The building is right on LBS Marg in Ghatkopar West, which as anyone from Mumbai knows, is a very busy and noisy road. There is always the sound of rickshaws and buses passing by outside our window. It makes the place feel very alive, even if it’s a bit loud for some. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift most of the time; we just take the stairs. The foundation focuses on livelihood, and we do all our planning and paperwork from this office. It’s a standard Mumbai apartment converted into a workspace. We have a few computers set up and a small area where we can sit and talk. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it yet. Most of our visitors come from the local Ghatkopar area or take the train to the station and then a rickshaw here. We usually have the windows shut to keep the dust from the road out, but the light still comes in fine. It’s a hardworking space without any unnecessary decorations or corporate branding. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of our schedules. If you’re looking for us, look for the Enclave sign near the main road.
