Graveytech Catering Ventures Private Limited is based out of E-301 in Raheja Vista. If you know the Powai area, you know how busy Chandivali Farm Road gets at almost any hour of the day. Our space isn't a storefront you would walk into from the street, since we are tucked away in the Raheja Vihar residential complex. Most of the work involves a lot of phone calls and planning for different events around Mumbai. The kitchen stays quite warm when everything is running at once. We spend a lot of time looking at menus and making sure the supplies arrived on time from the markets. Mumbai City is a fast place, and catering reflects that speed. There are always boxes being moved or vans being loaded up for a delivery somewhere across town. It is a lot of standing on your feet and making sure the lids are on tight. The staff here has a rhythm down after working together in this space for some time. We deal with the usual city stuff like rain delays or heavy traffic on the way to a venue. It is a practical setup where the focus is just on getting the food where it needs to go. It gets noisy with the fans going and people talking over each other, but we manage. We have been in this Powai spot for a bit now, and it has become our second home for the crew. It’s a lot of logistics and hard work.
