Our office is up on the 10th floor of the First Avenue Building, specifically in Units 1001 and 1002. The building is located at CTS No. 1199/E. Being on a higher floor means we get a decent view of the surroundings, which is a nice change from being on the street level. It’s a bigger building than some of the others we’ve been in, so there is a bit more of a professional atmosphere in the lobby, but our own space is pretty laid back. We have a few desks spread out across the two units. The carpet is a bit worn in some spots, and the filing system is something we are always trying to improve. It’s a busy place with phones ringing and people coming in for meetings. We don't have a team of writers or designers; we just handle the real estate work ourselves. The elevators in First Avenue can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we've learned to plan our trips downstairs carefully. We have a small area for making tea and coffee, which gets a lot of use. The neighborhood around CTS No. 1199/E has grown a lot recently, and there’s always some new construction going on nearby. We just focus on the daily tasks and keeping track of the local market from our 10th-floor spot. It’s a practical base for what we do.
