Our business, GAZDAR BANDH DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED, is located in Ballard Estate. It is an old part of Mumbai with all those impressive stone buildings from a long time ago. We are on the 2nd floor of Feltham House, which is number 6 on J.N. Heredia Marg. It looks a bit formal and serious around here, but inside our office, things are actually pretty laid back. We deal with property development, which involves a lot of back-and-forth with the city offices and various architects. Mumbai is a tough place for developers, but we have been at it for a while now. The streets around Ballard Estate are nice to walk through when it is not too humid outside. We are not a massive corporation, just a small team trying to get our projects off the ground. Most of our days are spent on the phone or sitting in meetings. There is always some new regulation to read through or a site we need to go check on. Being in South Mumbai means we are close to a lot of the action and the main offices. The office at Feltham House is old-fashioned, but we like the character of the place. We do not spend money on big advertisements. We just focus on the development work we have in front of us. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes things move slowly, but that is just the way it goes here.
