Funika Dreams Llp is based at Plot C-20, Block Near MCA in the Bandra Kurla Complex. BKC is a pretty famous spot in Mumbai, and being near the MCA means there is always something happening around us. Even though the area looks very corporate with all the big glass buildings, our office is much more down-to-earth. We are tucked away in a spot that feels a bit more private than the main towers. The space inside is mostly open, which makes it easy to shout a question across the room without having to get up. We’ve got some plants that we sometimes forget to water and a lot of cables running along the floor. It’s the kind of place where you can tell work is actually happening. The commute into Mumbai-400051 can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, so we often find ourselves staying a bit later just to let the traffic clear out. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll just see us at our desks, probably with some files open and a half-empty cup of tea nearby. It’s a practical workspace for a team that prefers getting things done over talking about them. We’ve been here for a while now and it’s become like a second home to most of us.
