Fomo Craft Brewing Private Limited

Being up on the 9th floor of the Trade Centre in BKC is a bit different from what you would expect for a brewery. It is right in the middle of Mumbai’s busy business district. You look out the window and see all these tall buildings and traffic, but inside we are just focusing on craft brewing. Fomo Craft Brewing started because we saw a gap in what was available around here. It is a bit of a climb to get up here, but the space is decent. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and figuring out the logistics of getting our stuff across Mumbai. BKC is a fast-paced place, but brewing takes time, so it is a bit of a weird mix. We do not really do the fancy corporate talk. Most of the time, we are just in jeans talking about grain shipments or bottle sizes. The floor can get a bit slippery when we are cleaning up, and the elevators are sometimes slow during lunch hour. We have had a few spills here and there, but that is part of the job. It is not all clean lines and polished desks like the other offices in this building. We have stuff piled up in corners and notes scribbled on the walls. We are just a small group of people trying to make brewing work in a place like Mumbai. It is a lot of stairs and a lot of phone calls.
