Our office for Finlok Chit Funds Private Limited is over in Malad West, specifically in the Shivaji Nagar area. We are located at house number 469 on Madh Jetty Road. If you know where Ganga Bawdi is, we are right near there. This part of Vesava has a very local feel to it, and we fit right in. It’s not a corporate district; it’s a place where people actually live and work. The office is a simple room where we keep our registers and meet with members. We don't have any fancy decorations or expensive furniture. It’s just a place to get the work done. The street outside can be quite lively, especially being on the way to the jetty, but we don't mind the noise. We have been managing chit funds here for the local residents for some time now. We aren't trying to be some big national bank or anything like that. We just want to provide a reliable way for our neighbors to save their money. Most of our day is spent checking numbers and talking to people who come by to pay their dues. It’s a very hands-on business and we do most things manually. We know the families around here and they know us by name. Sometimes we have to move things around to make room for everyone when we have a meeting, but that’s just how it goes in a small neighborhood office. We like the community here in Malad and plan to stay for a long time.
