The Federation Of Agri-Value Chain, Manufacturers And Exporters works out of Khar West. We are located at Uniphos House, which is part of M/S Upl Ltd. on C D Marg. It’s right by Madhu Park, which is a nice little green spot in a city that is mostly concrete. We have been based here for some time now. The building is quite sturdy and has a lot of history to it. Our daily work involves talking to people all across the agricultural sector, from the people making things to the ones sending them abroad. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes it feels like we are always on the phone. We don't have a flashy office. It's just a professional space where we keep our records and hold our meetings. The air conditioning is usually running because Khar can get very humid. We just go about our business day by day. There aren't any big speeches here about what we are doing. We just try to help the value chain move along a bit smoother. Sometimes the office is quiet and other times it’s full of people discussing manufacturing costs or export rules. We like being in Khar because it’s a central enough spot for everyone to reach. It’s a practical location for the kind of federation we are running. We just keep our heads down and do the work without much fuss.
