Essence India Overseas Private Limited

Our office is tucked away on the 7th floor of Hubtown Solaries, which is a pretty big building over in Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how the traffic gets on N S Phadke Marge, so most of us at Essence India Overseas Private Limited try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. We spend our time dealing with overseas trade, which basically means a lot of emails and checking schedules. The 702 office isn't anything too special, just a place with enough chairs and desks for the team to sit and work. You can see a bit of the city from the windows, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the computer screen. We keep some plants by the window, though they don't always look very healthy. Working in Andheri means there's always somewhere to grab a quick snack or a tea during the afternoon slump. We aren't trying to be anything grand, just a group of people making sure our shipments are moving along. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to hear the clock ticking. We've been at this address for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. It’s just how things are for us here, day in and day out, dealing with the paperwork and the logistics.
