We operate out of Flat No 103 in the Shagun Sadhna building, which is located on G V Scheme Road No 2 in Mumbai. This is right in the 400081 zip code area. It’s a busy part of the city, and the road outside is always full of cars and people. Our office is a simple apartment that we’ve used for years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered with so many charts and schedules that you hardly notice. We have some old metal filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them. It’s not a polished corporate space by any means. There’s usually a stack of career guides on the middle table and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We do all our counseling and planning from here. It gets a bit loud when the windows are open because of the traffic, but the breeze is better than the air conditioning sometimes. Most of our visitors are local students who walk over from the nearby stations. We don't have a big reception desk. You just walk in and we find a place for you to sit. It’s a very down-to-earth way of working. We just focus on the daily tasks and make sure we’re ready for whoever comes through the door next.
