Edilite Construction Private Limited

Edilite is based out of a humble spot in Malad West. We’re at Room No. 2 in Laxmi Chawl, right on Tank Road near Orlem Church. It’s a very traditional part of Mumbai, and we’ve been part of the community here for a long time. Our office isn't big—it’s a room in a chawl—but it’s where all our decisions are made. Being near Orlem Church means we’re in a landmark area, and everyone knows the neighborhood. We handle various construction jobs, mostly around the suburban areas. It’s a gritty, hands-on business. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned cabins all day; we’re usually out there where the work is happening. The office at Laxmi Chawl is where we keep our tools and our logs. It’s a bit cramped, especially when the whole team is in, but it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw one of our sites. Building things in Mumbai is never easy with the space constraints and the regulations, but we’ve learned how to navigate it over the years. We take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of our projects. It’s just a group of us doing our best to build decent structures for people in the city. No frills, just hard work and plenty of sweat.
