Our setup is located in Tower I of the Odyssey building, right in the Hiranandani Gardens area of Powai. It’s a nice part of Mumbai, though the traffic getting into Powai can be a headache sometimes. We use flat 2402 as our main base for the impex business. Working from a residential tower gives things a different feel, a bit more relaxed than a traditional office block. We spend most of our time dealing with international trade matters, coordinating between different suppliers and buyers. There’s a lot of screen time involved, checking prices and tracking containers across the ocean. The view from the 24th floor is great, but we usually have our heads down working. It’s a small operation, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to sorting out the tax papers. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to handle our business efficiently and keep our clients updated. Powai is a good spot for us because everything you need is nearby, even if the streets get packed with cars and people. We’ve been here for a bit now and have a good routine going. Most days involve a lot of tea and even more spreadsheets. It’s honest work and keeps us on our toes. We don't have a fancy reception area, just a place where we get the job done every single day. The evening lights from the window are a nice way to end the workday before heading home to our families in Maharashtra.
