Diamond Demand Private Limited

Working out of the Bharat Diamond Bourse is a bit different than a normal street shop. Diamond Demand Private Limited is in G Block, over at JW 3140. If you’ve ever been to BKC, you know how massive the bourse is. It’s like a city on its own. We’re right opposite the Nabard head office. Every morning is the same routine with security checks and walking through those long corridors. It's a busy place with people always rushing around with bags and papers. Inside our office, it’s a bit calmer. We deal with the diamond side of things, mostly keeping track of what people are looking for. The name says it all, really. We handle the demand. It’s a lot of back and forth on the computer and talking to other traders in the blocks nearby. Sometimes we grab a quick coffee at one of the stalls downstairs when things get too hectic. The commute to BKC is never fun because of the heavy traffic, but once you’re inside G Block, you just get into the work. We’ve been here for a while and seen how the market goes up and down. We don’t make a big fuss about things. It’s just a steady office job in the middle of the diamond hub. We keep our heads down and get the day's work done. The lights are always bright and the air conditioning is usually too cold for some of us.
