We are Dhanlakshmi Exim And Multitrade, and you can find us in Malad East. Our office is in Fatima Society in the Sanjay Nagar area, right on Rani Sati Marg. It is pretty easy to find if you know where the Karim Hotel is, we are right across from there. The area is always crowded and there’s a lot of movement, which fits because we do a bit of everything with our multitrade business. We handle both imports and exports, plus some general trading. It’s a bit of a mix. The office isn't some high-rise suite. It’s just a normal room in a local society where we manage our accounts and shipments. Malad is a busy place to work, but it’s got everything we need close by. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different vendors and making sure our deliveries are on schedule. It is not always smooth sailing; sometimes there are delays or the paperwork gets complicated, but that’s just the nature of the business. We don't have any corporate mission statements or anything like that. We just show up and do the work. It is a family-run feel kind of place. We know the neighbors and the local shops. We just focus on buying and selling and making sure the trade keeps going. It’s a lot of phone work and some legwork around the city to keep the business moving.
