Dezinelife Social Welfare Foundation

Our office is at C 225 in the Shrayas Industrial Estate. It’s on the second floor, right off the Western Express Highway in Goregaon. If you know the area, we’re pretty close to the Jai Coach stop and the SRPF Camp. It’s a busy spot, and you can always hear the traffic from the highway humming in the background. The Dezinelife Social Welfare Foundation is just our small way of contributing to the neighborhood. We don't have a big staff or a fancy lobby. It’s mostly just us working through stacks of paper and answering the phone. The industrial estate has a lot of different businesses, so there’s always something going on downstairs. We like the energy of the place. Our office is a bit cluttered, to be honest. We have boxes of supplies sitting in the corner and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it works for us. We aren't here to look pretty; we’re here to get things done. Some days are slow, and some days we can barely keep up with everything. That’s just life in Mumbai, I guess. We don't have any grand slogans. We just show up every morning, open the door, and see who needs help. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s the only way we know how to run a foundation. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving while we work.
