We are tucked away inside the Hind Saurashtra Industrial Estate in Marol, specifically in Unit 105 A. If you’ve ever spent time in Andheri East, you know it’s a real maze of industrial units, small workshops, and tiny shops. We’ve been here for a bit now, focusing on the lifestyle and retail side of the business. It’s a noisy area, with trucks always loading or unloading something on Kurla Road. Our space is pretty functional and honest. We have racks of stock and a couple of old desks that have seen better days. It’s definitely not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine, but it’s where the work happens. We spend our days sorting through retail stock and trying to get things out to the shops on time. The heat inside these industrial estates can be something else in the summer, but we have a couple of big fans that keep us going. We aren’t a big brand name, just Dansa Lifestyle Retail. We do our own thing and don’t worry too much about what the big companies are doing. Most of us have been in retail for many years, so we know how the drill goes. It’s mostly about making sure the inventory is right and the orders are packed properly. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment comes in unexpectedly. It’s just the way it goes here. We like being in Marol because everything is close, even if the traffic is bad.
