Dabholkar Foundation

Our foundation is based in Borivali East, specifically in the Kajupada area of Mumbai. We are in the Om Sidharaj CHS building, number 22/B. It is a residential spot in Gagangiri Nagar, so it feels more like a home than a regular office. We have been here for a while, working on different projects that come our way. Hill Road is right nearby, so there are always people walking around and noise from the street. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. It is just a place where we get together to handle the foundation business. Most of the people here are locals from Mumbai who wanted to do something useful with their time. We keep things very low-key. The room is small, filled with some old furniture and a lot of paperwork. We deal with whatever needs attention that day. Sometimes it is helping someone out with a form, or sometimes it is planning a small event nearby for the neighbors. It is just us doing what we can from this corner of Borivali. It is a quiet building for the most part, except when the local kids are playing outside in the evenings. We like being part of the neighborhood here. It feels right to be tucked away in a housing society rather than some big glass building downtown. That is just how we operate.
