Curry Tales Kitchen Llp is over in Khar West, right on Dr Ambedkar Road. We are based in the Lok Nirman Building, up on the third floor in room 301. Mumbai is always moving fast and our kitchen is no different. It’s not a massive place, just enough space for us to cook and manage the daily tasks. We’ve been at this A-3 address for a while now. The street outside is usually packed with cars and people heading to work. We spend our mornings getting the spices ready and making sure everything is set for the day. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough time in the day to get through the list of things to do. We are just regular people who enjoy being in the food business. It’s hard work, standing in the heat and keeping track of all the different dishes we handle. We don’t have a corporate team or anything, it’s just us and a few helpers from the neighborhood. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or cleaning up after a busy shift. Khar is a good place to be, even if the building is a bit older. We just focus on what’s in front of us and try to get the orders right. It’s a simple setup we have here at Lok Nirman, and we’re okay with that. It’s just how we run things every day for the people in Mumbai.
