If you’re ever near the National Park in Borivali East, you might have passed Hariom Plaza. That’s where Cretestone is located. We’re up on the second floor in room 213. It’s a good spot because G Road is always busy and there’s always something happening right outside the window. We mostly deal with stone and concrete materials. It’s heavy work and it’s usually quite messy, but we’ve been doing it for long enough that we don’t mind the dust. Our team is just a few local guys who know the area well. We don’t spend a lot of time making things look pretty in the office. Most of the real work happens out at the sites where the stone actually goes. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us moving I guess. We get customers from all over the North Mumbai area because we’re easy to find right opposite the park. We don’t have some big corporate hierarchy. If you call, you’re probably talking to the same person who’s going to check your order later. It is a very direct way of doing things. We like it that way because it stops mistakes from happening. No one here wears a suit. We’re usually in work clothes because that’s what the job needs. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the stone.
