Our office is over in the Laxmi Industrial Estate on Link Road in Andheri. It’s Office 429 on the fourth floor. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know that Laxmi Estate is a huge maze of different businesses, from clothes to film stuff. It’s an old place with a lot of character, and we’ve been here at Cine Desire Multimedia for a bit now. Getting up to the fourth floor can be a bit of a wait if the lift is busy with deliveries, so some of us just take the stairs to save time. The office itself is filled with screens and desks and a lot of wires. We do a lot of media work here, and the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet unless we’re all discussing a project at once. Andheri is the heart of this kind of work in the city, so it makes sense for us to be here, even if the traffic on Link Road is a nightmare most days. We don't go in for fancy decor or big signs on the door. It’s just a place to work. We spend our time editing, planning, and just dealing with the daily grind of the multimedia business. There’s always someone coming or going in the building, and the local chai wallahs are always around when we need a drink. It’s a practical space for people who just want to get things done without any extra fluff or trying too hard to look corporate.
